Almost missed your scrimmage post Brent

It is very encouraging that Shaw is improving. He has looked pretty good every time I've seen him play. Early reports this Fall have been that he seems uncomfortable at times in the pocket. He has to learn to trust the OL and make the throw. He obviously improved on that in this scrimmage.

As far as him taking over the #1 spot, I don't see it happening. Garcia is just better. The GCC insiders say it's very obvious when you see him practice. You can tell Garcia put in extra work over the summer.

You are right about Shaw getting a lot of playing time against East Carolina. If we get up by 2 scores expect to see Shaw a lot. I'm excited to see more of him this season. We will see what he's got and it means that we are winning big most of the time if you see the back up QB..
