This is going to be a good one, probably up there with Spartacus. It is a big budget type show. The whole first season is out.

Sometimes it just looks a lot worse than it really is. It was simply a rebuilding year for you guys. When you lose your best QB ever and key components of your DL its not going to be a good year period. It's going to happen every 3 or 4 years.

I don't think he's anymore risky than anyone else. We could do worse I think. 

Texas had enough confidence in him at one time to name him HCIW. Hard to tell until he gets here. If he gets here.

I don't think it would be a bad move either. I mean it could be a disaster but so could anyone else. I wouldn't be upset if he was named HC. 

Incidently...

It's not a bad move IMO if true. I never thought he was a fit at florida. Florida needs and offensive coach because that's type of team/recruits they get. I think our state produces allot of defensive talent. Offensive not so much, you have to go out of state for that. I think a good defensive coach and recruiter is a smart move.

IF he is being offered the hciw to come, I doubt very seriously he will just take everyone's word for it. I am sure there will be a huge buyout or something of that nature in his contract. Venables was handed a shit show like he is getting and it took a couple of years to straighten out. I don't think he should be blamed for that and I'm sure there would be drastic improvement from where the defense is now.

I would love to have him as our DC. I won't speculate a whole lot about him being our next HC without him even being named coordinator. 

I will say that I think that if he comes in as DC and we have a shitty team in 3 years he definitely won't be named HC. So at least if is handed the head job he will have a good foundation to work with. He won't be handed a shit show because if there is a shit show he simply won't be givin the job. Don't cross the shit line Ricky. 

I was talking to Rich last night and I agree with him in the fact that it would ease the blow in recruiting if we already have someone like Muschamp on staff when Spurrier retires. 

Like I said though, no need for me to speculate a whole lot.
