Tarheel Blues

I cannot see the Tarheels ever leaving the ACC. Like Mickey Plyler said, they run the ACC. Walt Deptula spoke on it for an hour or so on his show last week. He said that Don Swofford being the commish is stupid and he is the only alumnus from one of the schools in his conference in the entire NCAA. VT makes more sense really. Those NC teams don't have the football following that the SEC is so proud of. Clemson would of course be a good candidate, but whoM knows.

Like everyone says, this administration isn't going to push for anything too hard. Clemson's fans make it a football school but it is almost like the admin. fights them on that. If left up to them they would wait around in indecision until all this expansion blew over and let Clemson land in the Sunbelt!

Like I said, Spurrier is all smiles these days. Can't wait to hear the reports out of Clemson this weekend. Deptula has Clemson winning the Atlantic if you guys didn't know. He's really high on Ellington and the offensive line. If you ask me, he isn't sold on Florida State. I read somewhere, as you guys may have, that FSU may have offensive line woes and we all know without that they will now win a ton of games. Still, the way the ACC plays sometimes, that may not even matter.
