I wouldn't say that

I have expressed my opinion multiple times about how important it is to have Garcia back this season. He is a big key to this season. He gives us our best chance to win.

Don't get me wrong, I like Shaw. I feel great about our QB situation with Shaw at #2. It makes me feel better about Garcia leaving after this season. Shaw is not the better QB this year. When his time comes I will have confidence in him.

Spurrier mentioned at Carolina media days that the QBs during his era at Carolina haven't been as bad as some make it seem. The WRs break records almost every year, someone has to be getting the ball to them. He said that he guessed everyone was looking for that Heisman, All American type guy. We haven't had one of those but there is still reason for optimism. Garcia is the leading returning passer in the SEC.

Sure, the back up QB is the most popular man on campus for many schools. Even Clemson can't deny this. It goes all the way back to Whitehurst. I remember you telling me that Clemson had a better QB on the sideline than Charlie. You were of course talking about Will Proctor. Now you have Cole Stoudt that everyone is hyping up to be the future of the Morris offense, even though Boyd has 3 years of eligibilty remaining. Not calling Clemson out, just pointing out that it happens everywhere.
