I know where you are coming from with UNC

But NC State is just more logical. There are many reasons why.

To begin with, UNC's recent success in football (if you want to call it that) makes them look more appealing than they really are right now. I wouldn't rank a UNC vs Bama matchup above a NC State vs Bama matchup honestly. UNC is also disguised by the casual sports fan as being a good football program because of the success they have in basketball. They always have been..

That leads me to my next point. UNC and Duke are probably the only two teams in the ACC that wouldn't just dive at a shot to join the SEC. The reason is obvious.. They are basketball schools, they play in a great basketball conference, and they are the kings of that conference in basketball. It would be harder to pull UNC from the ACC than it would be worth the trouble. Why work so hard for an average/below average football program? Especially when you have an average/below average football program and a decent basketball program in NC State that you don't have to work hard for and make promises to.

Lastly, I think the SEC has enough teams that are attracting the NCAA investigators right now. Why add the team that has more scandal hype than any team in the nation to the conference?

It's really pretty simple to me the reason why NC State is more appealing than UNC. But maybe my brain is just simple lol. I also just hate UNC. I dislike them 10 times more than I do Clemson if that tells you anything lol. I am happy at what the UNC program is going through right now. The fans that they have deserve every bit of punishment.
