Think all you want scar has more money than FSU and southern cal..

The values of each school in that report was based on:

(1) their university (money generated by football that goes to the institution for academic purposes, including scholarship payments for football players);
(2) athletic department (the net profit generated by the football program retained by the department);
(3) conference (the distribution of bowl game revenue);
(4) and local communities (estimated incremental spending by visitors to the county that's attributable to the program).

What's missing? Donor information, which is the biggest factor. Those are just football numbers, iptay for example is not for football, it's for the entire athletic department. It's also allot tougher in high population areas to calculate money generated within the community just because of football. Those areas are somewhat overpopulated already and you want see a huge spike in spending like you do in Columbia on game day, allot of people are already there and spending money every day. What spike do you get by joining the sec? Fill the stadium? They do that already, all the trailer park rednecks from Alabama are going to come spend money? Lol, no what you will get will amount to 5 or 6 million from the deal. Or again, less money due to not being a factor in the conference or nationally, less fan support.

Would you really want to compare the athletic savings accounts at scar with FSU and Southern Cal? I would not even if Clemson was at the top of that list.
