Remember yesterday what I posted about FSU

The same relates to Clemson. I'll repost it for you. Just plug in Clemson instead of FSU:

"By the way, I don't care what the president, AD, or bot says at this time. What are they supposed to say? Yes we are wanting to join the SEC? What if the SEC decides they don't want them and decides to go in a different direction? What happens if it doesn't work out and they are stuck in a conference that hates them after showing interest in another conference? I think they are smart enough to stay hush until the deal is pretty much made."

What I'm not sure about is if the SEC is interested in Clemson. What I'm pretty sure about is that Clemson would jump to the SEC in a heartbeat. Regardless of what Barker says..

You haven't seen anything definitive that he even said it? Did you read the article I posted? It quotes him saying it. All you have to do is google it. Here, I'll help you:

http://www.google.com/search?q=We+are+committed+to+the+ACC&rls=com.microsoft:en-us:IE-SearchBox&ie=UTF-8&oe=UTF-8&sourceid=ie7&rlz=1I7SUNA_en#sclient=psy&hl=en&rls=com.microsoft:en-us%3AIE-SearchBox&rlz=1I7SUNA_en&tbm=nws&source=hp&q=We%20are%20committed%20to%20the%20ACC&aq=&aqi=&aql=&oq=&pbx=1&bav=on.2,or.r_gc.r_pw.&fp=6e3328551cd1a32&biw=1024&bih=596&pf=p&pdl=3000

Basically Spurrier said he liked the thought of Clemson to the SEC for the same reasons I do. It would boost the rivalry especially if the game is for the division title. It would also get Clemson off of our schedule as a non conference game so we would have an extra pickem game every year.
