Now for a more somber post

I tend to over analyse things at times. Though I don't always admit it, I do.

Once again tonight a hot topic in the post practice interviews was speed. Apparently the offensive players, veterans and newcomers, are a lot quicker and faster. That's great right?

Not so fast, no pun. I have thought about it and every QB that Carolina has had during the Spurrier era is used to possession WRs. Tall guys that can jump a mile, long range, but overall not very fast. The smaller, quicker, faster type of WRs that were used in Spurrier's reign at UF are being injected into the offense at Carolina. Still sounds good until you go deeper and think about how Garcia will adjust to that. It is something that he hasn't seen besides Ace Sanders last year. So my question is, is the speed a great thing or a hindrance?

This post is not about Lattimore or the defense that is being talked about as very much faster, quicker as well. Never hurts to have a quicker Lattimore or defense but the WR corps is in question here. Am I thinking to much into it?
