Clemson has not had a losing record in the time frame you mentioned until last year. Clemson was a bad football team last year. We got beat by South Florida, do not kid yourself into thinking that this was a Clemson team you typically have played in the past 8 or 9 years. Scar had a decent football team last year, but you were by no means unbeatable or world beaters. Clemson also did not play the game the past 2 years with the same intensity that they normally do. The first year they seemed to be looking ahead to the Championship game, last year we were just not a good football team. This was the worst football team we have put on the field since 1998.

Losing to Scar seems to be the only thing Clemson understands, but you are not setting any standards for my expectations of where I want Clemson to be right now at least. That includes beating you in the past as well, unfortunately that is all it takes for many to be happy.

Having said that, the verdict is still out on just how much you have improved. I can remember not that long ago sitting right where you are and getting a wet willy when the season started. Take it for what its worth but your coach has said the same thing recently.
