An email recently by a Cock-R-Doodle to the NCAA, its Cockalicious:

memmert@ncaa.org Dear Dr. Emmert, It has come to my attention and the attention of many others that Clemson University is showing strong signs of recruiting violations within their program. Two student athletes recently recruited by the program have been noted for their recent boasts of new cars and "checks bigger than phone numbers". Those two student-athletes are Mike Bellamy and Chad Kelly. On Thursday, August the 4th, 2011, Chad Kelly tweeted on his Twitter account that "doesn't get any better when you get a brand new car thrown at ya with 15 miles when you get it" and "i love our new care we got". Mike Bellamy recently tweeted photographs of himself with an outstanding amount of cash as well, and that he's "getting checks bigger than phone numbers". This is a concern to me as most seniors in high school don't have the funds to pay for a new car with 15 miles on it, much less a student-athlete. I feel leading a student-athlete in a direction of dishonesty is a problem, and if Clemson University is doing this it disturbs me. I feel that all Universities should be treated with the same restrictions, and would hope that you would look into the situation at Clemson University a little deeper. Clemson has a history of improperly recruiting in their program, and that should be good enough reason for an investigation. With the recently reported secondary violations, 12 of them, Clemson should be under the microscope. I hope this email reaches you and not anyone else, and I hope to receive a personal response from you as I feel the NCAA is a very professional organization that should show concern. Thank you for your time Dr. Emmert.
