In the first Spurrier call in show of 2006 on Thursday night, Spurrier stated that the program had received a large gift of 1 million dollars from a donor.Spurrier also said that he had a donation on the way himself. "Maybe it will help the fans and doubters realize that I'm serious about being around for 10 years or more." Spurrier stated.
The goal for the campaign is $75-100 million. Expected time of reaching the goal is 7-8 years.
