Paul Muse and Tramaine Billie

Paul Muse was dismissed from the team because he was mandated to do community service and didn't complete it, in fact he only completed about quarter of it in the alotted time.

He was present during the fight over a year ago that resulted in one of the offensive lineman being shot in the leg. His father said neither him nor his son had any ill feelings toward the coaches at Clemson. Muse says he felt the punishment was unjust (community service) because he was trying to break up the fight. Muse was a good athelete and he will certainly be missed. I think the message is clear, this type of behavior or perception of behavior will not be tolerated on a Bowden coached Tiger football team. Many other teams would have allowed him to remain on the roster. You can look at Va Tech and see what happens when your coach puts winning above everything. That further cements why Tommy should remain at Clemson no matter what happens this year. I don't want an ACC championship team full of liars and thugs.

Billie will certainly be missed.
Last word was that he would not be redshirted as the surgery was successfull. If he is not redshirted, he will most definitely be out at a minimum of 6-8 weeks. Again, winning is not everything, I am sure Bowden and him will sit down and talk about what is best for him and thats what will happen. Either way, you will see him again soon in a Tiger uniform tearing it up.
