As far as Clowney goes

There is no proof that he has done anything wrong. You can search any college football player's name on ebay that is worth a crap and find signed memorabilia. For example, Tahj Boyd has multiple items for sale on ebay by autographsmadeasy. I'm assuming that is just another weird nick-name for a kid? I'm talking multiple items of the same kind signed in the same spot being sold by one person. Might wanna think about it a little bit before you hurl too many stones.

The reason Clowney's name is being brought up with Manziel's is because they are the best players in college football. That same broker has signed stuff from Aaron Murray, Teddy Bridgewater, TJ Yeldon, and other players but you don't see their names in the headlines. The broker also hasn't outed Clowney or any of the other players like he did with Manziel. This leads me to believe that he doesn't have any proof that any other player excepted money. This will be one of those preseason stories that no one will remember at the end of the season imo. Just a case of the media having nothing better to do.

Don't get me wrong, if Clowney excepted any money it was a very dumb thing to do. It's against the rules whether you agree with it or not. I know with you being a clem fan that you don't want to see Clowney play but stuff like this really hurts the game in general. I'm not worried about Clowney not playing this season because there is no proof that there was a exchange of cash as far as he's concerned but it kind of pisses me off that there's a chance we won't see Manziel play this season. $7,500 is chump change to the NCAA execs. but yet they'll beat a 20 year old down for selling his own name. That same name that they sell on a daily basis. The NCAA is going to crumble one day and everyone will be happy that it happened.
