This Is Entertaining...

...but I have been playing an online dynasty with Ryan, Chris, and some dude from Syracuse, NY. I haven't had the free time to engage in this back and forth argument about offensive line training philosophies. I have to admit I have togive Blake the edge on this one Vance. As far as I know, most line coaches train at multiple positions. I am sure there are coaches that may keep tackles separate from guards and centers or many varied philosophies, but it's not unheard of for a guard to make the transition to tackle.

With that being said, I have to imagine Clemson is fairly confident in their line. I don't worry about it. I will tell you some optimistic things from camp. Now I know that most everything said is pretty much the exact same thing about every team. Extra focus, new sense of motivation, same old clichéd responses to hungry football fans. I am optimistic about Tajh Boyd and his leadership. I think he gives us the edge to win the Atlantic this year over FSU. It sounds like Tyshon Dye is also starting to turn some heads and I will not be surprised if he earns a ton of playing time by the end of the year. We need a strong back really bad.

I have one prediction to make that has been at the back of my mind since around mid-June. It isn't a major prediction, but it will affect Clemson. I believe Miami will win the Coastal this year. I believe they will knock off the Gators and be 10-2 in the regular season. I read an obscure article about their offensive line and then read the Steele magazine which only confirmed the feeling. Nobody is talking about that team, but I suggest you both give them a glance. Blake, look at their Steele breakdown. I don't see why anybody would pick VaTech this year. They play an antiquated form of football and it has showed the last 2 years. Of course since I typed this, Beamer will go 11-1 and make me eat my words.
