He actually runs a 4.13 forty

I went ahead and subtracted the .2 to .3 second overhead in my original post lol.

No but seriously bro, I thought the "forty time exaggeration" went without saying. If it isn't laser timed it probably isn't accurate. Unfortunately all we have to go by is hand timed forties in HS and college. I'm sure the Clowney forty time was exaggerated as well, but I haven't read anywhere that he ran a 4.3? That's a new one. Forty times aren't just exaggerated at Carolina especially for defensive ends. For example, Dequan Bowers ran under a 4.6 forty while he was at Clemson and ran in the 4.8/4.9 range at the NFL combine. Another defensive end with a highly exaggerated forty time was Ricky Sapp who ran a 4.4 forty time while at Clemson and ran a 4.7 forty time at the NFL combine. Jacoby ford even added over .15 seconds to his forty time (ran a 4.126 at Clemson and a 4.28 at the combine). The point is that it happens everywhere and I was kind of surprised you chose that part to point out considering it was the obvious lol. By the way, I wouldn't care if they claimed Clowney ran a 8 second forty lol.

The video says that he runs a 4.45 in HS and our coaching staff says that he runs a 4.4 now at Carolina. Not sure where Arky comes in or what kind of logic you were using there? I will say that I would love for clemson to implement in a lot of what Arky did last year lol.

Kane looked pretty fast in his HS video to me but it could just be garnet colored glasses on my part. Then again it could also be orange colored glasses on your part saying he didn't look fast. Regardless of what his "exaggerated forty" is the coaching staff says Whitehurst is fast. Spurrier is the one that said he showed up and ran a 4.4 forty (GGC said a 4.3). Pretty sure Spurrier is a good evauator of speed considering the fact that he's one of the better coaches coaching right now and he's been doing it for years, but hey you may have a better eye for speed than him lol. My very own brother is a better talent evaluator than Spurrier!

I really didn't claim anything else about him other than him being fast though bro. Never boasted about his size, hands, ect. The kid may never see the field as a WR. Neither of our teams offered him a scholarship out of HS and neither of our teams have yet to offer him. He's a walk on. Like Spurrier said, he's a freebie. He's probably more likely to be a special teams player. Maybe even a returner at some point. I'm pulling for him and would like to see him play. Like I said, a fast white kid is intriguing. I just thought it was a good story with him being Charlie's cousin and all. Not a big deal bro..
