Today starts my Top 25 list with teams 21 through 25. On a more serious note, condolences to the family of Jarret Foster, a coach with the clemson track & field team.
25. South Carolina: Offensively, Spurrier will have Mitchell, Rice and the group scoring a ton of points. The defense has to replace 8 starters, but if the talented group develops early they could have a great year. The rating is optimistic, but I expect D to be better than last year. MVP: Sydney Rice, WR
24. Boston College: Tom O'brien is a good coach and his teams are always tough, consistent, and good enough to win 7 or 8 games against any schedule. I really like the toughness of Matt Ryan. MVP: Brian Toal, LB
23. Oregon: Entire O-line returns. Offense will score with anyone. Two quality QB's. Defense is very suspect. MVP: Paul Martinez, PK
22. Tennessee: Tennessee must gain control over a very talented, but very undisciplined team. they are championship caliber on both sides of the ball. Phillip Fulmer may need to hang it up if UT slips again. MVP: Arian Foster, RB
21. Virginia Tech:Troubled, overrated QB Marcus Vick is gone, so questions there. Brandon Ore is an all-ACC caliber tailback. Defense will be one of the nation's best again. MVP: Brandon Ore
