Sometimes it just looks a lot worse than it really is. It was simply a rebuilding year for you guys. When you lose your best QB ever and key components of your DL its not going to be a good year period. It's going to happen every 3 or 4 years.

I don't think he's anymore risky than anyone else. We could do worse I think. 

Texas had enough confidence in him at one time to name him HCIW. Hard to tell until he gets here. If he gets here.

Incidently...

It's not a bad move IMO if true. I never thought he was a fit at florida. Florida needs and offensive coach because that's type of team/recruits they get. I think our state produces allot of defensive talent. Offensive not so much, you have to go out of state for that. I think a good defensive coach and recruiter is a smart move.

IF he is being offered the hciw to come, I doubt very seriously he will just take everyone's word for it. I am sure there will be a huge buyout or something of that nature in his contract. Venables was handed a shit show like he is getting and it took a couple of years to straighten out. I don't think he should be blamed for that and I'm sure there would be drastic improvement from where the defense is now.

I would love to have him as our DC. I won't speculate a whole lot about him being our next HC without him even being named coordinator. 

I will say that I think that if he comes in as DC and we have a shitty team in 3 years he definitely won't be named HC. So at least if is handed the head job he will have a good foundation to work with. He won't be handed a shit show because if there is a shit show he simply won't be givin the job. Don't cross the shit line Ricky. 

I was talking to Rich last night and I agree with him in the fact that it would ease the blow in recruiting if we already have someone like Muschamp on staff when Spurrier retires. 

Like I said though, no need for me to speculate a whole lot.

You also have Chad Morris leaving along with Brent Venerables. Dabo still hasn't been ruled out for the UF job. All these question marks surrounding the program has to be demoralizing for the kids. How can the players be "all in" if the coaches are "all out"?

Chad Morris is a class act and is probably waiting until next week after the game to announce. He did not leave after practice to interview, some stuff is made up though.

Again though, I think there are plenty of OCs that can run that offense out there. Jeff Scott may get a chance but Lincoln Riley is probably high on the list as well. I was not impressed with chad morris this year. He has not developed a true run threat as Malzhaun does with his offense. You will never be consistent relying exclusively on passing the ball. 

Laying all jokes aside, there should be no excuse for having an offense as bad as ours or a defense as bad as yours.

I've not really been that impressed with chad morris this year. He has not looked like a great coach. We can do better for that kind of money.

That Ellis Johnsons departure had on scar. It's not likely Dabo will hire a 30 year position coach to be a coordinator. It's not completely out of the question that spurrier retires though, he has kinda looked done at times this year.

What kind of impact will Chad's departure have on the game on Saturday?

Hopefully the Clem kids will feel betrayed..

Chad has always had that evil look abou him anyway. Probably why he never beat the good guys..
