as usual you overlooked the most important quote from him:

"Jadeveon has a muscle strain near his rib area that caused him to miss the game last week against Kentucky," Spurrier said. "He was in pain and it was diagnosed later (on Sunday). Obviously, we all handled it poorly. All of us did. The proper procedure and protocol is when a player is hurt, he tells the trainer and the team doctor, 'I can't go. This thing is hurt, there's too much pain,' or whatever. The trainer tells me, 'He's out, he's not playing.' It's as simple as that. But we all didn't do that. It caused some confusion. We didn't handle it well, the whole group of us."

Spurrier himself said he and his staff started this controversy, so that is that. Not sure what you don't get about the above statement. He didn't say this whole thing was started by Clemson fans, he said me and my coaches handled it poorly. Funny you still act as if it was my interpretation.

He takes the high road and admits he caused the unnecessary alarm, cool its over. I will go with what he said, again.
